Senator Schatz has authored more than 20 bills that are now law.

Since joining the Senate, Senator Schatz worked to write and pass more than a dozen laws.  Some of these bill signed into law include:

·         Raising the smoking and vaping age to 21 nationwide

·         Expanding access to telehealth through Medicare

·         Restoring Pell Grants to incarcerated people

·         Fighting online child sexual exploitation
