Project Purpose: Expand invasive species surveillance in Hawai‘i to include harbors, in order to enable rapid response to eradicate detected high-priority species such as Africanized honey bees, fire ants, and the mosquitos that carry malaria parasites.

Project Purpose: Development of an accurate, easy-to-use soil carbon support tool that will help Hawai‘i users identify and select practices for climate-smart agriculture or specific outcomes such as soil organic carbon sequestration.

Project Purpose: Hire a consulting firm to develop a Climate Ready Hawai'i resilience plan with specific focus on food resilience and soil health; do outreach to constituents and communities.

Project Purpose: Construction of 20,639-linear feet of 8-foot fencing, one entrance gate and 14 additional gates around the Kula Agricultural Park to prevent damage from feral pigs and axis deer.

Project Purpose: Construct a new state-of-the-art 13,000 sq ft post-harvest processing facility to accommodate their larger farm, which will produce ten times as much food for the community, and quadruple the youth internship, training and educational opportunities.
