Federal Funding Freeze

The current administration recently moved to block at least $430 billion in federal funding owed to people in Hawai‘i and across the country. A tracker estimating the amount of federal funding that is currently canceled or frozen nationwide is available here.

The tracker offers a snapshot-in-time look at the vast array of federal funding that should be going out the door, but that the current administration is holding up or actively fighting in court to block. It details the minimum amount of funding we believe the administration is currently withholding for key priorities like public safety, medical research, recovery from natural disasters, child care, transportation, and more.

If you have been impacted by these attempts to stop federal funding from flowing to Hawai‘i, we want to hear from you. Share your story and request assistance here.
